Softball Recap: Plano Takes a Loss

Plano lost against Prosper back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-4.

Aubrey Zhang made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Veida Vega also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Plano's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Prosper, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Coming up, Plano will welcome McKinney Boyd at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Prosper, they will square off against McKinney at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.96 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
