Softball Recap: Dwyer Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dr. Joaquin Garcia last Monday, Dwyer came back down to earth. The Dwyer Panthers fell just short of the Park Vista Cobras by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Cobras: they've now lost six in a row.

Kayla Sejnoha made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Dwyer's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Park Vista, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

Coming up, Dwyer will square off against Doral Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Park Vista will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Boca Raton at 7:00 p.m. on April 7th.
