Recap: Tolar Rattlers vs. Italy Gladiators
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Tolar Rattlers walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Gladiators 61-28 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Tolar as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tolar to victory, but perhaps none more so than Peyton Brown, who rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns. Garrison Nation also helped out as he racked up 110 rushing yards.
Italy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dredrick Owens, who picked up 149 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Gared Wood was another key contributor, throwing for 195 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes.
Tolar's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Italy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Tolar will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Marlin at 7:00 p.m. on November 30th. Marlin is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Italy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
