Soccer Recap: Weber Comes Up Short

Weber's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Layton Lancers by a score of 1-0. Weber were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Layton earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Weber's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Layton, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Weber is set to take on their familiar foe Farmington at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Layton will face off against rival Syracuse at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
