The Canyon del Oro Dorados will challenge the Flowing Wells Caballeros at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Canyon del Oro is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.5 points per game this season.

Canyon del Oro was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Rio Rico on Saturday. The Dorados blew past the Hawks 76-49. The Dorados not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since December 21, 2024 (when they won 77-43).

It was another big night for Julian Robles, who went 7-for-17 en route to 20 points in addition to six assists and six boards. Those six rebounds gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tyler Skorupa, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Canyon del Oro was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Flowing Wells came up short against Mountain View on Wednesday and fell 54-45. The Caballeros haven't had much luck with the Mountain Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Flowing Wells' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Canyon del Oro, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Canyon del Oro against Flowing Wells in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 81-43 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Caballeros' Isaias Encinas, who posted 20 points.
