If Kennett beats Woodland with 72 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Kennett was the clear victor by a 72-51 margin over Malden on Friday. That 21 point margin sets a new team best for the Indians this season.

Meanwhile, Woodland didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Notre Dame on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 70-66 win. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 132nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Woodland's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.5 points per game. As for Kennett, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.
