Basketball Recap: Harts Bluff Comes Up Short

Harts Bluff was the 43-27 winner over Rivercrest when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Harts Bluff Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 34-33 to the Rivercrest Rebels. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rivercrest can attribute much of their success to Diana Kelley, who posted 13 points along with six boards and five steals. Kelley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.

Harts Bluff now has a losing record at 12-13. As for Rivercrest, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-20.

Harts Bluff has already played their next contest (against Maud), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rivercrest will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bowie at 6:30 p.m. Bowie will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Rivercrest surely won't give up without a fight.
