Basketball Recap: Ulysses Takes a Loss

Ulysses was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pine Creek Eagles. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Blake Marshall was his usual excellent self, putting up 26 points for Pine Creek. Another player making a difference was Kyler Chatman, who posted ten points and four steals.

Ulysses' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Pine Creek, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Ulysses wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-51 win against Concordia on the 25th. Pine Creek has also already played their next match, a 56-41 defeat against Beloit on the 25th.
