Volleyball Game Preview: Menahga Braves vs. Pelican Rapids Vikings

The Menahga Braves will square off against the Pelican Rapids Vikings at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Pelican Rapids took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Menahga, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Menahga turned things around against New York Mills on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Pelican Rapids and Perham had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Yellowjackets on Thursday.

Pelican Rapids was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Perham work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 29-27, 25-8.

Pelican Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Menahga, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10-2.

Menahga might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Pelican Rapids when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Will the Braves have more luck at home instead of on the road?
