Baseball Recap: Manchester Triumphs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Manchester walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Oscar Smith Tigers 5-3.

Lucas Parrish was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Easton Butts, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Oscar Smith, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Manchester nor Oscar Smith have any future games scheduled.
