Soccer Game Preview: Academy of the Sacred Heart vs. Avondale

The Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles will head out on the road to square off against the Avondale Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Academy of the Sacred Heart's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Thursday, Academy of the Sacred Heart didn't have quite enough to beat St. Catherine of Siena Academy and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Avondale). They blew past Mott 9-1 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Avondale.

The win got Avondale back to even at 2-2. As for Academy of the Sacred Heart, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
