Basketball Recap: Midlakes Takes a Loss

Midlakes came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 48-20 loss at the hands of the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders. The match marked the Screaming Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Midlakes has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Palmyra-Macedon, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midlakes will welcome Waterloo at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Waterloo will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Midlakes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Palmyra-Macedon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bloomfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
