Baseball Recap: Claiborne Academy Comes Up Short

Claiborne Academy came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Junction City Dragons, falling 14-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Rebels couldn't push the score so high this time.

Claiborne Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Junction City, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Claiborne Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Riverdale Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Junction City, they will face off against Smackover at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Junction City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.
