Baseball Recap: Thoreau Takes a Loss

Thoreau lost against Zuni on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hawks lost 11-3 to the Thunderbirds. The Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Jordan Calladitto made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.

Thoreau's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Zuni, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Coming up, Thoreau will square off against Estancia at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Zuni, they have already played their next matchup, a 13-2 loss against Laguna Acoma on the 17th.
