Game recap: Sandy Creek High School Football Team defeats Alexander

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. - Sandy Creek (Tyrone, Ga.) extended its winning streak to seven games with a 42-6 victory over Alexander (Douglasville, Ga.) on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Patriots led 35-6 at the half.

Sandy Creek expanded its lead to 36 points entering the fourth quarter. SC scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run.

The Cougars' lone touchdown came on a run in the first quarter.



Led by Shaquille Wiggins, the Tyrone school came into the game allowing 11.7 points per game.

In a AAAA Region 5 game next week Alexander (0-7) takes on Carrollton, and Sandy Creek (7-0) will go up against LaGrange also in a AAAA Region 5 game.
