AIMS College Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 25 points or more this season. They blew past Invictus 76-17 at home.
Meanwhile, Kennedy lost to Maria Carrillo at home by a decisive 49-33 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, Kennedy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1130th, while Maria Carrillo is ranked 449th).
AIMS College Prep pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.1 points. As for Kennedy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
