Baseball Recap: West Caldwell Takes a Loss

West Caldwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 14-1 to the East Burke Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Tuesday.

West Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for East Burke, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

West Caldwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Burke, they will be taking part in a tournament against Ashe County at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
