Basketball Recap: Germantown Christian Wins Going Away Against Christian Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Temple Christian, Germantown Christian was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 58-33 margin over the Christian Academy Eagles. The match marked the Conquerors' most dominant win of the season.

It was another big night for Zach Sharrett, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ian Francis, who posted nine points.

Germantown Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in seven consecutive games.

Germantown Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
