Franklin County is a perfect 8-0 against Crystal Springs since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Franklin County is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Franklin County lost 12-3 to Loyd Star on Monday.

Judson Arnold made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Detrick Starks, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Crystal Springs took on Jefferson Davis County on Monday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Jaguars.

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Crystal Springs, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-12.

Everything went Franklin County's way against Crystal Springs in their previous matchup back in April of 2021, as Franklin County made off with a 16-0 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
