They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 47-46 W against Southwestern. Given Danville Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while Southwestern is ranked 96th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Danville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 28-3. As for Southwestern, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-14.

Danville Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 39-36 win against Mercer County on the 11th. Southwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
