Baseball Recap: Jim Ned Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jim Ned can now relate to. They fell just short of the Iowa Park Hawks by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Jim Ned has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-10 record this season. As for Iowa Park, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hawks beat Jim Ned by a score of 9-8 on Friday.
