Even though the Shepard Astros scored an imposing 60 points on Friday, the Lake View Wildcats still came out on top. Lake View took their matchup against Shepard 70-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lake View.
Lake View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daniel Loza, who scored 23 points. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for him. Ayden Reed was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Lake View has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Shepard, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
