Football Game Preview: Kossuth Aggies vs. Holly Springs Hawks + Official Tickets

Kossuth is a perfect 3-0 against Holly Springs since November of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Aggies will square off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kossuth has five straight victories, Holly Springs has 15 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Thursday, everything came up roses for Kossuth against Alcorn Central as the squad secured a 49-15 win. Considering the Aggies have won four contests by more than 26 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Eli Tays, who rushed for 215 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.4 yards per carry. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Holly Springs played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 38-14 to North Panola. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.

Kossuth's record is now 7-2. As for Holly Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Everything came up roses for Kossuth against Holly Springs in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 49-20 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Hawks' Tray Kinkle, who rushed for 183 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 10.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 89 receiving yards and one touchdown.
