Villa Rica had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Haralson County Rebels. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Villa Rica easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21.

Coincidentally, Villa Rica and Haralson County will both be playing Temple the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Rebels will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
