Softball Recap: Osseo Takes a Loss

Osseo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rogers Royals. That's two games in a row now that the Orioles have lost by exactly four runs.

Alayna Carmon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on two hits.

Osseo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rogers, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osseo will challenge Sauk Rapids-Rice at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rogers, they will head out to take on Blaine at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
