Basketball Game Preview: La Fargeville Knights vs. South Kortright Central Rams

The La Fargeville Knights will challenge the South Kortright Central Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. La Fargeville will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.

Last Sunday, La Fargeville didn't have too much trouble with Sackets Harbor Central as they won 54-35. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Patriots are ranked 497th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, South Kortright Central had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 54-46.

La Fargeville's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points over those games. As for South Kortright Central, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
