Basketball Recap: North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] Comes Up Short

North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] was the 71-45 winner over St. John when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] Bearcats took a 77-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. John Woodchucks on Monday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (62), the Bearcats still had to take the loss.

St. John was led to victory by Ashton Parisien and Madden Parisien. Ashton went 10 for 16 en route to 30 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Madden went 11 of 24 to rack up 25 points in addition to six boards and three steals. With that strong performance, Madden is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Tayden Longie, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 12 points and six boards.

North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland]'s defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for St. John, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. John, they will challenge Langdon at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
