Volleyball Recap: Plainwell Snags 12th Win in Last 15 Games

Western typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Plainwell proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Panthers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since September 18th.

Plainwell has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-12-1 record this season. As for Western, their defeat dropped their record down to 31-7-2.

Plainwell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Kalamazoo Central on the 18th. Hopefully Western paid attention to the Trojans' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Trojans at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
