Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Crusaders vs. Army-Navy Warriors

St. Joseph Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 21-14 to the Army-Navy Warriors. One positive for St. Joseph Academy, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Khalil Cammayo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-5. Another player making a difference was Asher Larkin, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

On Army-Navy's side, Jacob Hester was incredible, going 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Palmer Free, who scored four runs while going 2-for-4.

St. Joseph Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Army-Navy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-11.

St. Joseph Academy will head out on the road to challenge Bonsall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Joseph Academy has given up an average of 11.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Army-Navy, they will be playing at home against Rock Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rock Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
