Basketball Recap: Plainfield Central Comes Up Short

Plainfield Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Lincoln-Way West Warriors, falling 58-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-37 back in November of 2024.

Plainfield Central's record is now 1-14. As for Lincoln-Way West, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Plainfield Central Wildcats take on the Oswego Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln-Way West, they will host Lincoln-Way East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
