The Parkwood Wolf Pack scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on West Stanly with a sharp 70-48 win. That looming 70-48 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Parkwood yet this season.

Parkwood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kayl Starnes out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Starnes pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Peyton Collins, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

The win (which was Parkwood's third in a row) raised their record to 6-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for West Stanly, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkwood will take on Anson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Anson is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. As for West Stanly, they will head out on the road to face off against Monroe at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Monroe is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
