Volleyball Recap: Butler Now 11-1 over Last 12 Games

Butler won the last time they faced West Carrollton and Alexia Dysinger did her part to make sure it happened again. The Aviators were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pirates on Wednesday for which the team can thank Dysinger, who had nine aces and four digs. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Butler took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-5, 25-6.

Butler has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. As for West Carrollton, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Looking ahead, Butler will be taking part in a tournament against Bellefontaine at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. West Carrollton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
