Softball Recap: Lebanon Takes a Loss

Lebanon lost against Cookeville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Lebanon took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cookeville.

Kyndall Robinson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 12 contests. Another player making a difference was Teagan Fetcho, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Cookeville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Lebanon will be playing in front of their home fans against Beech at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cookeville, they are taking a road trip to challenge White County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
