Crown Point not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 21st (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Portage Indians as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in April.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, 25-20.

Ben Monk paced Crown Point's offense, picking up 12 kills. Monk got some help from Aiden Matthews and his 11 assists. Monk was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Crown Point's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-13. As for Portage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Crown Point will head out to challenge Kouts at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Portage, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Morgan Township at 5:00 p.m. The Indians are facing the Cherokees at the right time seeing as the Cherokees are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
