San Benito suffers sixth straight loss at home

The San Benito Greyhounds's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They suffered a tough 58-36 loss at the hands of Rivera. San Benito was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Elias Rodarte was a one-man wrecking crew for Rivera as he scored 15 points along with six steals. Another player making a difference was Andy Sanchez, who scored 12 points.
San Benito dropped their record down to 5-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Rivera, their win bumped their record up to 17-10.
San Benito will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Los Fresnos presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Greyhounds in Texas (the Falcons are ranked 353rd, while the Greyhounds are ranked 1106th). As for Rivera, they will head out on the road to challenge the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
