After losing to West Shores the last time they met, Holtville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vikings walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday.

Joslynn Knight was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had four digs and two aces.

Knight wasn't the only good server: Holtville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive games.

Holtville's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for West Shores, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Holtville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Desert Chapel on the 6th. As for West Shores, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Desert Mirage on the 6th.
