Basketball Recap: Monroe Extends Winning Streak to Four

Monroe won the last time they faced Snohomish and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Monroe Bearcats enjoyed a cozy 51-37 win over the Snohomish Panthers. Given the Bearcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Panthers are ranked 230th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Monroe will square off against Stanwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Stanwood will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Monroe surely won't give up without a fight. As for Snohomish, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Everett at 6:30 p.m.
