Lutheran had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders 66-20. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 74-26 loss the last time these two teams met.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Town East Christian at 7:00 p.m. on September 12. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Prince of Peace at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
