Basketball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Ridgeline Falcons 71-36. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Ridgeline's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Myers, who went 9 of 14 en route to 20 points and six assists. Myers' evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madilyn Crowley, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Ridgeline, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

University wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-42 win against Ferris on the 4th. As for Ridgeline, they have also already played their next game, a 68-26 victory against Cheney on the 4th.
