With a playoff win on the line, South Knox rose to the challenge on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Washington Catholic Cardinals a 5-0 shutout. South Knox might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Washington Catholic from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

The victory (which was South Knox's third in a row) raised their record to 11-4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matches. As for Washington Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 2-12-3 record this season.
