Basketball Recap: Doyle Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Doyle and Madison squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Doyle had to settle for second. They were dealt a 68-30 loss at the hands of the Madison Jaguars. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

With the defeat, Doyle broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 27-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for Madison, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 26-6.

Doyle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Madison Jaguars take on Winnfield Tigers on Friday.
