Soccer Recap: Myers Park's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games + How To Watch

Myers Park fought the good fight in their overtime match against Hough on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 4-3. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Myers Park came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Hough are ranked 30th).

Femi Ogunwale and Conner Greene scored all three of Myers Park's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Myers Park fell to 8-1. As for Hough, their record now sits at 9-3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Myers Park will face off against Marvin Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hough, they will take on Hopewell at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
