Baseball Recap: Meade County Takes a Loss

Meade County lost against Taylor County back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Green Waves lost 7-1 to the Cardinals.

Gavin Brown was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Meade County's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Taylor County, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Meade County will face off against Elizabethtown at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Taylor County, they will take on Barren County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
