After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oasis, Southwest Florida Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the King's also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2021.
Southwest Florida Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-22.
Gigi Noah paced Southwest Florida Christian's offense, picking up 21 kills. Noah got some help from Joy Youngblood and her 29 assists. Journey Cook controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
