While Karson Mauk delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Harpeth. Lewis County had no answer to Mauk as he made nine total tackles. Mauk also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Harpeth is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
For the year, Mauk has averaged 11 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 26.14 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 86.57 rushing yards.
