Purnell Swett barely beat Fairmont the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Golden Tornadoes on Wednesday. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Golden Tornadoes recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

While Purnell Swett might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fairmont scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-19.

Purnell Swett's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fairmont, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
