Olympian waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They skirted past the Victory Christian Academy Knights 57-55. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 68-56 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Olympian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Walker, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points and four steals. Walker has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Anderson, who posted 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Victory Christian Academy lost, don't look at Isaiah Owens. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave Owens a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Angel Ochoa, who had 14 points.

Olympian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Victory Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-11.

Olympian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-40 win against Mater Dei Catholic on the 31st. Victory Christian Academy has also already played their next contest, a 65-51 loss against Bonita Vista on the 31st.
