Baseball Recap: Poway Takes a Loss

Poway lost against Torrey Pines last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Titans lost 8-2 to the Falcons. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Poway saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Poway's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Torrey Pines, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Poway is set to square off against their familiar foe San Marcos at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Torrey Pines will face off against rival Carlsbad at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
