Mt. Markham put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Clinton Comets as the Mt. Markham Mustangs made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in December of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15, 25-18.

Caleigh Smith paced Mt. Markham's offense, picking up 11 kills. Smith got some help from Addison Jones and her 14 assists. Jones was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Mt. Markham's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Mt. Markham will venture away from home to challenge Sauquoit Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clinton, they will welcome Cooperstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
