Basketball Recap: Coy Sizemore Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Eastside

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Marion had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They walked away with a 55-42 win over the Eastside Rams. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-40 back in December of 2024.

North Marion got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Coy Sizemore out in front who went 5 of 10 en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jerdarrius Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

North Marion's win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Eastside, their loss dropped their record down to 4-19.

North Marion will face off against Santa Fe on Friday. Santa Fe will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something North Marion surely won't give up without a fight. Eastside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
